Our Full Review

Tropic Tonic is Fussy’s most invigorating citrus - a vibrant blend that combines zesty lime with unexpected basil and sweet mandarin.

The Scent Experience

The lime hits first - sharp, fresh, and immediately energising. But it’s the basil that makes this special, adding an aromatic, almost mojito-like quality. Mandarin sweetens the blend and rounds out the edges.

Performance

  • Morning energy: This is a genuine wake-up call
  • Active days: Perfect for workouts and busy schedules
  • Freshness: Maintains a clean, just-showered feeling

Which Fussy formulation this is

Fussy sells two deodorant formulations. Its FAQ says of bicarbonate of soda: “Our Normal formula does but we use much smaller amounts than others plus a very high grade”, and “We also have a Sensitive formula, which doesn’t contain bicarb.” On Fussy’s ingredients page, Sodium Bicarbonate is listed under the Normal formula only. The Sensitive formula adds Glyceryl Caprylate and Arrowroot Powder, and Fussy says of the first: “Glyceryl Caprylate is from the coconut, and replaces the baking soda used in our regular formula.” Every other highlighted ingredient, Tapioca Starch included, appears on both lists.

This scent is not among the scents Fussy lists in its Sensitive range, so this review describes the Normal formula. Both formulations refill at 40g, so size will not tell them apart. If bicarbonate of soda is what you react to, Fussy’s refill page carries a Normal / Sensitive filter — choose by that rather than by scent name. This review is based on published specifications, not on wear testing.

For citrus lovers wanting something more interesting than standard lemon, Tropic Tonic delivers sophisticated zest.
